You're probably reading this on one of the 500 million PCs where Installshield has helped you add/remove 80% of the software on your hard drive.  Morton Redner wrote and supervised publication of the original user guide for InstallShield.

Redner is a senior technical writer, instructional designer, and project manager. Clients include corporations large and small, publishers, and the U.S. Navy.  Typical projects involve web-based training, online Help, Flash-based e-learning, and multimedia presentations.

He began at McGraw-Hill, writing user guides for high schools, healthcare providers, and architects, then for investment analysis and trading software on Wall Street.

In a prior career on Madison Avenue Redner wrote TV, radio, and print advertising for national consumer brands, and an award-winning recruitment campaign for the Peace Corps. One poster from that campaign now hangs in the poster collection at the Smithsonian Institution. Simon & Schuster published his novel GETTING OUT, a comedic tale about a young man drafted to go to Vietnam. Now in its third edition, GETTING OUT is available at amazon.com.

Redner is an M.A. graduate of the University of California at Berkeley who received his B.A. from Hobart College.
