Amgen Instructional Designer/Technical Writer wrote and designed a multimedia web tutorial introducing new hires to Amgen's Supplier Quality Management department. Used Adobe Captivate to produce the training, which Amgen distributed with Adobe Connect/Breeze. Recorded my own voice-over narration. H&R Block Designed, branded, and programmed a menu system linking 30 computer tutorials to train the 70,000 financial consultants that H&R Block hires each year for the tax season. Tasks included designing the user interface, a button bar with the Company logo, and an animated introduction. 2003.

Oracle Designed and programmed a software prototype with DemoShield to simulate a CRM Website. Oracle/France used the prototype in new-business presentations to France Telecom and other companies. 2000

Telseon Telseon markets scalable gigabyte bandwidth to Intranet and Internet companies. Wrote and programmed an intranet tutorial for Telseon customers using DemoShield with Lotus ScreenCam simulations. 2000

Europe Online Designed and built a multimedia demo CD with voice-over announcer, music/SFX, video and software simulations. Multilingual versions include English, German, French, Italian. Europe Online, an ISP based in Luxembourg, delivers by satellite to viewing subscribers fully converged broadband internet with video. 2000

Exchange Applications Exchange develops and markets data-mining software to help customers analyze for marketing purposes information that web viewers enter intentionally or inadvertently. Developed and programmed a multimedia demo that included AVI video. Exchange and its IBM partners used the demo for sales presentations to prospective enterprise clients. 2000

Geotest Designed, wrote, and produced a multimedia software demo advertising ATEasy electronics testing software from Geotest. Programmed software simulations. Wrote the voice-over script, and supervised the recording session with a broadcast-quality announcer, edited sound using Audacity. Multimedia included graphics, animation, and an original synthesized music track. This demo took First Prize for Product Previews at the Society for Technical Communication 2000 Annual Competition.

Chicago Title & Trust Built a demo with software simulations advertising Sierra Office, an application that title agents use to store, manage, and process data for real estate closings. 1999

Quintus / Avaya Consulted with Quintus to produce a demo for its HRQ software system that companies use to manage the call centers of their Human Resources departments. The project included knowledge transfer so client could maintain and upgrade the demo afterwards as needed. 1999

Wavetek / Will`Tek Produced and programmed a demo advertising Wavetek's electronic calibrating software. Created and programmed simulations to demonstrate its functionality. Wrote narrative captions explaining the action onscreen. 1999

Bristol-Myers Squibb Created a tutorial to teach employees at Bristol-Myers Squibb companies in 55 countries how to use the Company's new intranet system for assigning and tracking research grants to clinics, laboratories and universities. Edited screenshots with Paint Shop Pro. Trained employees to maintain the tutorial as BMS upgraded its software. 1999

Citizens Communications Hungarian Telephone and Cable Wrote, designed, and programmed CBT for Citizens affiliate Hungarian Telephone and Cable Corporation. Many Europeans consider bribery a normal cost of doing business. This tutorial teaches employees that bribery violates the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Localized for Hungarian and English. 1996-1997

ADP The Payroll Company. Created and designed a workstation for stockbrokers at ADP Corporation. Built a software prototype to demonstrate the graphical interface. Helped produce a 10-minute video with professional actors to show ADP management how stockbrokers might use such a system. The Company implemented the idea, which has since evolved into a true success story -- Power Partner -- the ADP system widely used on Wall Street today. 1995

U.S. Peace Corps Creative Director on TV, radio and print for national recruitment advertising. On-location filming in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
